About Us

Our Story

At the end of 2005, a number of us involved with medical data systems where at a conference in London discussing the newest developments in clinical research. But instead of talking about new advances, speakers primarily alluded to the difficulty of finding the right study volunteers for trials.

Subsequent discussions with patients quickly brought to light that a method to easily access trials for study volunteers was missing. While there are many study registers, they are not targeted at volunteers. This lack of a central trial database, focused on the needs of study volunteers, inspired us to launch the ClinLife.

Today the ClinLife is a team of physicians and web developers, facilitating clinical research by connecting patients and study volunteers with clinical trials.

Mission

Our mission is to enable access to clinical trials for all wishing to be involved and to promote the benefits of clinical trials. Toward this goal we are building a network of patients, study volunteers, physicians, investigators, and others involved in this field.

We hope to become the leading clinical trials community in the UK, aimed at promoting research in medicine and healthcare.
